Installation method and function brief

introduction of gas anchor

 The gas anchor is a kind of ideal gas protection device, which has been developed by our company for many years in accordance with the actual situation in oil field production, and has a certain sand control function (structure diagram is as follows). Equipped with this device, it can prevent sand and gas, reduce wear and tear of pump, prolong the service life of pump, greatly increase the filling degree of pump fluid, prevent air lock and improve pumping efficiency. The specific use methods and functions are as follows:

First, installation metheod

1,When set in a welllower coupling of the gas anchor connecting two or more tubing ( can use old), and crew a plug in the lower end of tubing for sand setting.

2Used for tubing pumpsthe upper coupling of the gas anchor is screwed to the lower end of the fixing vale assembly of the oil pump through the tubing short sub.

3Used for rod pumpsthe upper coupling of the gas anchor is connected with the lower end of the tubing of the built-in rod pump.

Second, function and principle:

The gas anchor can be carry one sand prevention and three gas-liquid separation during pumping.

sand prevention After the liquid into the sand-setting pipe, first, the run down, reaching the bottom of the inner pipe and suddenly turning 180 degrees upward, this steering movement causes the fine sand contained in the liquid to be thrown the sand-setting pipe under the dual action of gravity and centrifugal force, thereby avoiding or greatly reducing the amount of sand entering the oil pump.

The first time gas-liquid separationThe plunger up stroke, the gas-liquid enters the sand-setting pipe simultaneouslythe liquid will sink rapidly under gravitybut the gas will floats in the upper partthe liquid enters the oil pump through the bottom of the inner pipeWhen the plunger down strokethe liquid will continue to automatically enters the sand-setting pipebut the gas is expelled from the upper part of the sand-setting pipe.

The second time gas-liquid separationThe  residual gases of first separation will go up through the inner tube along with the liquidenter the first stage spiral separator. In the spiral separator, the gas and liquid revolve and rise at high speed together around the I grade spiral separating column, under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid will be thrown to the outer ring, and enter the second stage spiral separator from the oil holes in the   intermediate coupling, the gas will rise from the centre, and is discharged through the gas check valve 1.

The third time gas-liquid separationGas-liquid in the second stage spiral separator, revolve and rise at high speed together around the II grade spiral separating column , under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid will be thrown to the outer ring and enter into the oil pump from the oil holes in the uper coupling, the gas will rise from the center, is discharged through the gas check valve 2.
